Barros & Errázuriz Abogados and CMS Carey & Allende advised on the deal

Agrosuper finalized the acquisition of Chilean salmon company AquaChile for $850 million.

AquaChile, one of Chile’s largest salmon producers, had recently struck a $255 million deal to purchase two smaller Chilean fish farming operations, boosting the company’s access to the Magallanes region of Patagonia, a prime area of cold water ideal for salmon rearing.

Agrosuper S.A. engages in the production, distribution, and marketing of chickens, pork, turkeys, salmon, and processed foods worldwide. It offers its products under the Super Pollo, Super Cerdo, Sopraval, La Crianza, and Super Salmon brand names. The company was founded in 1955 and is based in Rancagua, Chile.
