King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) acted for AgriFutures Australia in connection with the establishment and launch of growAG.
growAG. is a centralised online platform which showcases Australia’s agrifood innovation opportunities and success stories, and provides a comprehensive database of Australia’s current agrifood research projects.
growAG. is an ongoing collaboration between Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and all of Australia’s 15 RDC’s to increase opportunities for commercialisation and showcase research and technologies.
AgriFutures Australia developed the new platform, supported by 14 other Research and Development Corporations and $2 million in federal funding.
AgriFutures Australia is an organisation focusing on growing the long -term prosperity of Australian rural industries.
The KWM team led by Scott Bouvier (Picture) and Shareen Dhillon advised on all legal aspects of the launch, working closely with AgriFutures Australia’s inhouse counsel Erin Hulm.
