Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer attorneys advised longstanding client Bluebird Partners on the sale of its Island View Holidays Group portfolio company, an Isle of Wight-based holiday and caravan park owner-operator, to AG Holiday Parks UK Limited.
The transaction, which closed on May 5, 2017, involved the disposition of a group of companies, as well as the redemption of loan notes and banking facilities.
The sale is the most recent in a number of transactions on which the firm has acted for the London-based independent private equity sponsor specializing in the UK lower-mid market. In late 2016, APKS advised Bluebird Partners on its £44.4 million sale of self-storage operator Space Maker Stores.
Maple & Black Law, led by its real estate partner, Ed Finley, assisted APKS by providing real estate advice. Goodwin Procter represented the buyer, AG Holiday Parks.
The team was led by Sean Scanlon (Picture), Daniel Lewis, Henry Clinton-Davis, Tom Wilson, and Chris Angelos.
