AEP Texas Inc.’s $300 Million SEC-Registered Senior Notes Offering

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters in connection with an SEC-registered offering by AEP Texas Inc. (“AEP Texas”) of $300 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.15% Senior Notes, Series G, due 2049.

Citigroup, Scotiabank and TD Securities acted as Joint Book-Running Managers on the offering.

The transaction closed on May 1, 2019.

AEP Texas is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. (“AEP”) and is part of AEP’s transmission and distribution utilities segment. AEP Texas is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 1,050,000 retail customers through retail electric providers in west, central and southern Texas.
