AEP Texas’ $450 Million Notes Offering

AEP Texas Inc. entered into an Underwriting Agreement with CIBC World Markets Corp., MUFG Securities Americas Inc., Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC (collectively, the “Underwriters”), relating to the offering and sale by the Company of $450,000,000 of its 3.45% Senior Notes, Series J, due 2051.

AEP Texas is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. (“AEP”) and is part of AEP’s transmission and distribution utilities segment. AEP Texas is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 1,068,000 retail customers through retail electric providers in West, Central and South Texas.
