Clifford Chance has advised Adamantem Capital on the deal.
Adamantem Capital acquired a majority stake in carbon farming project developer Climate Friendly. The acquisition represents one of the largest M&A deals in the Australian land-based carbon sector to date, and the first investment to close in Adamantem’s second Fund (Fund II).
Climate Friendly is a Sydney-based consultancy which works with landholders, managers and Traditional Custodians to regenerate their land and improve productivity by adopting land management practices that reduce emissions and capture carbon in the land.
