A Cahill litigation team, lead by partners Brad Bondi (Picture) and Jason Hall and counsel Peter Linken, successfully reached a preliminary settlement for its officer and director clients in a shareholder suit in which investors accused Patriot National Inc. and certain officers and directors of failing to consider a $475,000,000 takeover offer from insurance software maker Ebix Inc.
U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos granted preliminary approval for the settlement. The case is In re: Patriot National Inc. Securities Litigation, case number 1:17-cv-01866, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
