Ins­tituto de Previsión Social (IPS) de Paraguay – granted by Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo – has provided a $66 Million Credit Facility to

Telefónica Celular del Paraguay S.A.

Proceeds will be used to extend the 3G Network in the country.

Telefónica Celular del Paraguay S.A. provides mobile communications services in Paraguay. The company, led by Ricardo Maiztegui, Julia Sandoval and Pablo Moscatelli, operates as a subsidiary of Millicom International Cellular SA.
