Via Varejo’s R$4.5 Billion Common Shares Offering

Via Varejo S.A. (“Via Varejo”) executed its primary follow-on offering of 297,000,000 common shares. The offering raised R$4.5 billion in gross proceeds to Via Varejo.

The common shares were offered to certain institutional investors in Brazil, to qualified institutional buyers in the United States under Rule 144A and to non-U.S. persons outside the United States in reliance on Regulation S. The shares of Via Varejo are traded on the São Paulo Stock Exchange (B3) under the ticker symbol “VVAR3.”

Via Varejo is the leading retailer of consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile phones and furniture in Brazil, in terms of gross revenue in 2019 and in the three months ended March 31, 2020.
