United Rentals’ $1 Billion Term Loan Facility

Cravath represented Bank of America, N.A., as administrative agent and lead arranger, in connection with the arrangement of a $1 billion term loan facility made available to United Rentals (North America), Inc.

United Rentals (North America), Inc. is the largest equipment rental company in the world. The facility was used to finance the acquisition of Vander Holding Corporation.

The Cravath team included partners Michael S. Goldman (Picture) and Stephen M. Kessing and associates Sanjay Murti and Marc Bode on banking matters, and associate Jiyeon K. Barta on tax matters. Falguni Joshi also worked on executive compensation and benefits matters.
