KKR Infrastructure’s £4.2 Billion Acquisition Of Viridor


Simpson Thacher represented KKR Global Infrastructure Investors Fund III in the transaction.

KKR Global Infrastructure Investors Fund III executed the acquisition of Viridor Limited from Pennon Group plc for an enterprise value of £4.2 billion.

Viridor is one of the UK’s leading recycling and residual waste businesses.

Barclays and Morgan Stanley advised Pennon on the deal.

KR is a leading global investment firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, including private equity, energy, infrastructure, real estate and credit, with strategic partners that manage hedge funds.
