Octopus Ventures led ThoughtRiver’s $10 million Series A funding round. Existing seed investors Crane, Local Globe, Entrée Capital, Syndicate Room, and angel investor Duncan Painter also participated in the round.
Octopus Ventures is one of Europe’s largest and most active Venture Capital firms investing in startups in the areas of health, money and deep tech. ThoughtRiver provides contract pre-screening services to in-house legal teams and law firms to increase sales velocity and deal throughput. ThoughtRiver has offices in New York, Singapore, London, Cambridge, and Auckland, and will use the new funding for further growth in the U.S. and expanding integrations with major tech partners.
