Thompson Street Capital Partners’ fifth fund $1.5 Billion Fundraising

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm focused on investing in founder-led middle market businesses, on the successful closing of its fifth committed capital investment fund, Thompson Street Capital Partners V LP (TSCP V), at the hard cap with total commitments of $1.15 billion.

Thompson Street Capital Partners is a St. Louis-based private equity firm focused on investing in founder-led middle market businesses in the healthcare and life science services, software and technology services, and business services and engineered products sectors. Founded in 2000, the firm has acquired more than 100 companies and has managed more than $2.6 billion in equity.

The Kirkland team was led by investment funds partners John Muno (Picture), Bruce Ettelson and Corey Zarse and associates Zack Oswald, Noah Mullin, Julia Trotta; and tax partner Dan Meehan.
