Tecnoglass’ $160 million Colombian float glass plant

Tecnoglass completed the authorization process to build a now $45 million float glass plant in Colombia.

The plant will be built in Galapa, near Barranquilla and approximately 12 miles from Tecnoglass’s manufacturing operations.

The new facility will have production capacity of 750 metric tons per day of float glass and will be completed in 2021.

Tecnoglass, Inc. manufactures and sells architectural glass, windows and related products. The Company, led by Jose M Daes, Santiago Giraldo and Christian T Daes offers its products throughout North, Central and South America and serves the global residential and construction industries. In 2018 the company recorded $370.9 million revenues.
