Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Sunrise Medical Group on its acquisition of multi-national wheelchair designer and manufacturer Magic Mobility.
Sunrise is a world leader in mobility vehicles including manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, mobility aids and customised seating and positioning systems. Sunrise Medical’s wheelchairs and mobility aids are sold in over 130 countries worldwide.
Magic Mobility is prominent family owned corporation, founded in Australia in 1994, who develops both manual and powered customised wheelchair solutions in order to allow users ease of manoeuvrability. Magic Mobility has operations in Australia, the United States, France, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Switzerland and South Africa.
Sunrise completed the acquisition of Magic Mobility effective 1 August 2018.
