Standard Chartered’s tender offers for three series of capital securities

Slaughter and May advised Standard Chartered PLC and Standard Chartered Bank on its tender offers for three series of outstanding capital securities issued by Standard Chartered PLC and Standard Chartered Bank.

The capital securities tendered for had an aggregate principal amount outstanding of approximately £1,785,000,000, of which approximately £1,067,000,000 will remain outstanding following the tender offers. The tender offers were made on 4 June 2018 and the results of the tender offers were announced on 12 June 2018.

Standard Chartered Bank, Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets plc and UBS Limited acted as dealer managers.
