Davis Polk advised SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. on its $1.4 billion public offering of 30,262,250 shares of common stock, including 3,947,250 shares sold pursuant to an underwriters’ option.
The shares are listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol “SSNC.” SS&C intends to use a portion of the net proceeds to finance its previously announced acquisition of DST Systems, Inc.
SS&C is a provider of mission-critical, sophisticated software products and software-enabled services that allow financial services providers to automate complex business processes and effectively manage their information processing requirements. SS&C provides its solutions globally to more than 7,000 clients, principally within the institutional asset management, alternative investment management and financial institutions vertical markets.
The company, led by William C Stone, Normand A Boulanger and Bob Schwartz, in 2017 recorded $1.675 Billion Revenues.
DST uses its proprietary software applications to provide sophisticated information processing and servicing solutions through strategically unified data management and business process solutions to clients globally within the asset management, brokerage, retirement, health care and other markets.
