Sino-Ocean Group’s $95 Million Acquisition of Chicago’s Soho House


Paul Hastings advised Sino-Ocean Group in its $95 million acquisition of boutique hotel and members’ club Soho House in Chicago’s booming Fulton Market neighborhood.

Hong Kong private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners and Huarong International Financial Holdings also teamed up for the six-storey, 40-room hotel.

Sino-Ocean Group Holding Limited operates as a real estate holding company. The Company, led by Li Ming, Li Hu and Sum Pui Ying, develops residential, office, retail, and commercial real estate properties. In 2017 Sino-Ocean recorded $6.76 Billion Revenues.
