Real estate service company Savills has acquired property and facilities management companies OMEGA Immobilien Management GmbH and OMEGA Immobilien Service GmbH. Savills is using the acquisition to close a strategic gap in international markets and expand its range of services in Germany. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is currently awaiting approval from the competition authorities.
London-based Savills is a global real estate service company listed on the London Stock Exchange. According to the firm’s own figures, it has seven offices in Germany with around 200 employees. Savills Immobilien Beteiligungs-GmbH specialises in holding and managing equity interests in German and foreign companies with a focus on real estate consulting.
The OMEGA Immobilien Group has its headquarters in Cologne and is a specialist in property management. One of the key areas it covers is asset, property and facilities management.
