Macfarlanes has advised specialist investment firm Quilam Capital on a new strategic partnership with US investment firm Wafra Capital Partners Inc, a joint venture, branded Quilam Special Opportunities Limited.
With WCP’s additional experience and expertise, the new vehicle plans to deploy several hundred million pounds over the next five years in the UK and European speciality finance markets.

Quilam Capital specialises in lending to and investing in businesses in the speciality finance sector, offering both debt and equity solutions up to £25m.
The Macfarlanes team was led by finance partner Andrew Perkins (Picture) with assistance from senior solicitor Adam Caines.
