Qatar Petroleum’s integration of QatarGas and RasGas.


White & Case LLP has advised Qatar Petroleum on the deal

The transaction creates the world’s largest LNG company. The integration became effective on January 1, 2018, from which date all the activities of Qatargas and RasGas are now operated by the new ‘Qatargas’.

Qatar Petroleum operates in the oil and gas industry in Qatar. The company, led by Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi engages in the exploration, production, and sale of crude oil, natural gas and gas liquids, liquefied natural gas, refined products, synthetic fuels, petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, and steel and aluminum products.
