Prysmian's CAD130 Million Acquisition of EHC Global

Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP advised EHC Global on the deal.

EHC Global signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of the company by Prysmian Group in a transaction valued at $130 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

Established in Canada in 1977, EHC Global is a globally-leading manufacturer and supplier of escalator handrails, rollers, elevator belts, strategic components, and integrated solutions for the vertical transportation industry. EHC Global also provides a comprehensive range of maintenance and installation services for escalators and moving walkways.

The in-house EHC Global transaction team was led by Randy Lewi, EHC Global General Counsel. The Cassels deal team was led by Jake Bullen (Picture) and included Mickey Lungu, Andrew Dilts and Jesse Tepperman (all from the Private Equity and M&A team).
