Pesquera Iquique-Guanaye S.A.(Igemar) and Pesquera Eperva S.A. (Eperva), operating as subsidiaries of Angelini Group, executed the acquisition of 20% stake in Orizon S.A., from Sociedad Pesquera Coloso S.A., for $20 Million.
Pesquera Iquique-Guanaye SA (Igemar) processes fish in Northern Chile. The company, led by Eduardo Navarro Beltran and Rodrigo Huidobro Alvarado, in 2017 recorded $150 Million revenues.
Empresa Pesquera Eperva S.A., an investment company, operates in the fishing industry in Chile. It engages in pelagic fishing activities; and produces and sells fishmeal and fish oil.
Orizon S.A. produces and commercializes canned fish products. The company offers preservative products such as, tuna fish, jack mackerel, mussels, and mackerel; groceries including rice and legumes; frozen food, such as jack mackerel, mackerel, hok, southern ray’s beam, mussels, and giant squid; and fish meal and oils. It offers its products for human consumption and industrial applications.
