Osborne Clarke has advised Bayerische Landesbank.
The transaction concerned a new debt facility provided by Bayerische Landesbank, which has enabled the Pensions Infrastructure Platform (PiP) to complete a £86 million long-term refinancing for a 32MW portfolio of onshore wind assets.
The portfolio comprises of 45 onshore wind turbines across the UK and Ireland with the refinancing package designed to take advantage of the current attractive market rates, whilst maintaining PiP’s conservative approach to leverage, as it continues to secure long-term inflation linked cashflows.
