Patria Investments’ $2.75 Billion Private Equity Fund VI Fundraising

Simpson Thacher represented Patria Investments Limited (“Patria”) in the establishment of its latest flagship private equity fund, Patria – Private Equity Fund VI, L.P. (“ PE VI”).

PE VI is the largest Latin America-focused fund raised to date. Patria announced that PE VI held its final close in December 2018. PE VI raised approximately $2.75 billion of capital commitments.

Pátria Investimentos Ltda. is a private equity firm specializing in direct and fund of funds investments. It seeks to invest in middle market companies.
