NotCo, a leading food-tech company in Latin America, closed its $85 million Series C investment round, co-led by Future Positive, the investment vehicle of Fred Blackford and Biz Stone, and L Catterton, the largest and most global consumer-focused private equity firm.
NotCo is a food-tech company that uses proprietary technology to replace animal protein with ideal plant-based ingredients – recreating the same taste, smell, and function. NotCo plans to launch its global expansion by starting in the U.S. where the plant-based food industry has grown to a $5 billion market.
