Simpson Thacher represented Mr. Cooper Group Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. on the deal.
Nationstar Mortgage Holdings Inc. completed its offering of $600 million aggregate principal amount of its 6% Senior Notes due 2027.
The Issuer intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the Notes, together with cash on hand, to redeem in full all of the outstanding 6.5% Senior Notes due 2021 and 6.5% Senior Notes due 2022, each issued by certain subsidiaries of the Issuer, and to pay fees and expenses incurred in connection with the offering and the redemptions.
Mr. Cooper provides servicing, origination and transaction-based services related to single family residences throughout the United States with operations under its primary brands: Mr. Cooper and Xome. Mr. Cooper is one of the largest home loan originators and servicers in the country focused on delivering a variety of servicing and lending products, services and technologies. Xome provides real estate data as well as a range of services including real estate brokerage, title, closing, valuation and field services to lenders, investors and consumers.
