Marriott International, Inc.’s $550 Million Notes Offering


Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc., in connection with an offering by Marriott International, Inc.

Marriott International, Inc. offered $550 million aggregate principal amount of 2.125% Series DD Notes due 2022. The notes were sold in a registered public offering, which closed on October 3, 2019.

Marriott is the world’s largest hotel company, based in Bethesda, Maryland, with more than 7,100 properties in 132 countries and territories. Marriott operates and franchises hotels and licenses vacation ownership resorts.
