Keller Tecnogeo’s Management Buyout


Terciotti Andrade Gomes Donato Advogados advised the MBO, while Friedrich Graf von Westphalen & Partner in Germany and Felsberg Advogados in Brazil advised Keller on the deal.

A group of executives and engineers (MBO) acquired Keller Tecnogeo Fundações Ltda. (now Tecnogeo Ground ) in April 2020.

Tecnogeo was the subsidiary in Brazil of Keller Group (Keller), the world’s largest geotechnical specialist contractor.

Tecnogeo´s team will continue to apply its long-term expertise in advanced specialized geotechnical , foundation and ground improvement works to service its clients in Brazil. With around 450 staff and operations across South-America, Tecnogeo generates annual revenue of R$ 120 million. Tecnogeo was founded 34 years ago in São Paulo and has constantly expanding ever since. Tecnogeo has worked in relevant projects in Metro, Airports, Railways, Ports, Roads, Dams, Sewage, Plants, Industry and Real Estate, having enhanced the state of the art in geotechnical engineering in Brazil. The new management will share its long-term experience of 30 years in the business and relevant skills developed during their performance of executive roles during Keller Tecnogeo operations.
