Innoflight’s 70 Percent Sale of the Company to Jordan Company’s Affiliate

Blank Rome LLP advised Innoflight, Inc. on the deal.

Innoflight, Inc., a leading provider of compact, software-defined, cyber-secure and integrated satellite avionics, establishing secure end-to-end connections for satellite-to-satellite and satellite-to-ground space networking and communications, announced the sale of 70 percent of the company to an affiliate of The Jordan Company L.P., a New York-based private equity fund. The transaction closed on December 31, 2020.

This transaction is the result of persistent relationship and business development efforts by our attorneys with members of the Aerospace, Defense & Government (“ADG”) ecosystem. The deal was referred by our close contacts in the ADG M&A group at Duff & Phelps, a multinational financial consultancy firm. Furthermore, this client success is a strong demonstration of our Firm’s cross-practice collaboration and breadth of experience across the many disciplines required to successfully structure and close ADG transactions.

The Blank Rome team was led by Kipp Cohen (Picture) and Shaun Bockert, with significant assistance from Cory Jacobs, Justin Chiarodo, Michael Kadlec, and Riki McGettigan.
