InfraVia Capital Partners (an investment fund specializing in the infrastructure sector) has successfully finalized the financing of the construction and operation of a wind farm located in Sweden for a total amount of approximately 133 million euros.
This financing was arranged with ABN AMRO Bank N.V, BNP Paribas and Société Générale (acting as arrangers, lenders and cover banks).
This financing comes following the acquisition by InfraVia Capital Partners, through its InfraVia IV fund, of Björkvattnet from developers Vindparken, WindSpace and GE Renewable Energy in September 2019, and the conclusion of a partnership with GE Renewable Energy.
This 175 MW wind farm, whose operation will be launched at the end of 2020, will produce enough renewable energy to supply the equivalent of 175,000 homes in Sweden and will play a leading role in the pursuit of the national objective of fossil fuel exit by 2040.
Allen & Overy advised InfraVia Capital Partners with Driss Bererhi, Tzvétomira Pacheva-Belghitar, Dorian Le (Finance), Steven Dejong, Sebastien Plamondon and Cyril Cotterall (Project) and Clément Saudo (Derivates).
