Heimstaden Bostad’s €830 Million Acquisition Of a Residential Real Estate Portfolio


Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Heimstaden Bostad on the deal.

Heimstaden Bostad, one of the largest Swedish housing companies, announced the acquisition of a real estate portfolio in Berlin. The purchase price amounts to EUR 830 million.

The portfolio consists of 130 properties and includes 3,902 residential units, 208 commercial units and 321 parking spaces. The total lettable area comprises 282,000 square meters.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2020 or the first quarter of 2021.
