Froneri’s $4 Billion Acquisition of Nestlé US Ice Cream Business

Mayer Brown represented Nestlé in connection with the agreement to sell its US ice cream business to Froneri.

Froneri executed the acquisition of Nestlé US ice cream business for a transaction value of $4 billion.

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020, following the completion of customary regulatory approvals.

Froneri is an ice cream-focused joint venture Nestlé created in 2016 with PAI Partners.
