Empresas Publicas de Medellin (EPM), a multinational utilities company and the leading multi-utility services company in Colombia, secured approval for a line of credit totaling US$750 million with HSBC.
The Credit Facility has a three year maturity and a 30 month availability period. The proceeds of the Credit Facility will be used as follows, US$215 million to finance the investment plan of EPM and US$535 million for general corporate purposes.
