Embracer Group’s Class B Shares Private Placement

Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to Embracer Group, while Gernandt & Danielsson advised Carnegie Investment Bank AB, Goldman Sachs International and Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG.

Embracer Group AB completed a private placement of Class B shares through an accelerated book building procedure, performed by Carnegie Investment Bank AB, Goldman Sachs International and Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, raising SEK 5,782 million (approx. $649.7 million) before transaction costs.

The shares were subscribed and acquired by Swedish and international institutional investors.
Embracer Group, which is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, is the parent company of businesses developing and publishing PC and console games for the global games market with a catalogue of over 190 owned franchises.

Embracer Group AB designs and develops leisure products and offers games such as action, adventure, sports, racing, role playing, casual, and family.
