Ashurst has advised Edstart on Series A capital raising.
The Series A round was led by NAB Ventures and involved new and existing investors, including Larsen Ventures. The fund raise marks a significant milestone for Edstart, which will use the proceeds of the fundraising round for the expansion and development of its online platform.
Edstart offers purpose-built funding options for parents to pay education fees. The product smooths lumpy school fee commitments into weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments and can also extend the payment of school years for up to five years after graduation.
The Ashurst team was led by corporate partner Stuart Dullard (Picture), who was assisted by senior associate Jason Maletic and graduate Tegan Keizer.
