Coty Merges with Procter & Gamble’s Fragrance, Color Cosmetics and Hair Color Business


The Procter & Gamble Company, the global consumer products industry leader successfully closed the announced USD 12.5 billion deal involving the transfer of 41 of its specialty beauty brands to Coty Inc.

The transaction included P&G’s global salon professional hair care and color, retail hair color, cosmetics and fine fragrance businesses, along with select hair styling brands.

P&G has shared that it will focus its future portfolio on 10 categories and about 65 brands that best leverage P&G’s core competencies.
