Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico’s $433 Million Financing of Corredor Bioceánico Tramo Loma Plata – Carmelo Peralta en la Región Occidental de Paraguay project

Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico secured $433 million financing for the development of The Bioceanic Corridor project in Paraguay.

Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico is a society established in 2016 in Asunción by the Brazilian firm Constructora Queiroz Galvao S.A. and the Paraguayan company Ocho A S.A. to participate in the operation bidding of the Bioceanic Corridor Stretch Loma Plata – Carmelo Peralta in the Occidental Region of Paraguay. The Bioceanic Corridor project (277 km) includes ground movement, sewage construction, and bridges, between the departments of Alto Para­guay and Boquerón.

The financing includes a $433 Million notes offering structured by UBS A.G and a $60 million Revolving credit facility provided by Banco Nacional de Fomento, Banco Atlas S.A., Banco Regional and Banco Sudameris.
