Boracho IP Holdings LLC v. Sensata Technologies, Inc.

Jones Day successfully defended Sensata Technologies Holding plc (NYSE: ST) in a patent litigation brought by Boracho IP Holdings LLC, a non-practicing entity.

The asserted patent related to power electronics, and the accused products were inverter/chargers made by Sensata. Following Sensata’s motion to dismiss for failure to state to state a claim, Boracho dismissed the case with prejudice.

Sensata Technologies Holding plc manufactures and distributes electronic components. The Company offers automotive sensors, motor protectors, circuit breakers, thermostats, pressure sensors, and switches.
