Amazon’s Minority Investment In Deliveroo


Slaughter and May advised Deliveroo on the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) process in connection with a minority investment by Amazon.

The CMA announced on 4 August that it has cleared the investment following an in-depth Phase 2 investigation.

Deliveroo (legally incorporated as Roofoods Ltd.) is an online food delivery company based in London, England. It operates in two hundred locations across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong and Kuwait.
