San Francisco-based VC firm Quiet Capital has led a US$10m financing to Pakistan bus transportation start-up Airlift. The financing follows on from the company’s US$12m Series A round in November 2019, at the time one of Pakistan’s largest rounds to date.

Airlift aims to build the world’s first decentralised mass transit system, to enable local transport companies to move populations and goods around urban ecosystems quickly and efficiently. It has also branched out into last-mile logistics, with the launch of Airlift Grocer in Lahore, to deliver household goods in the city within 45mins.

Quiet Capital operates as a venture capital investment company. The Company focuses on seed and early stage investments in the technology sectors.
