Action Logement’s Investment Trust


McDermott Will & Emery advised Action Logement on the deal.

Action Logement (formerly named 1% Housing) executed the creation of Enéal, a real estate company dedicated to the acquisition and rehabilitation of housing facilities for dependent elderly persons and for independent homes. The goal is to “offer a new quality housing offering to retirees with modest incomes”.

With €350 million in equity capital, Enéal aims at acquiring 150 medico-social facilities over the next three years. The creation of this real estate company is one of the measures provided for in the €9 billion Voluntary Investment Plan adopted jointly by Action Logement and the French Republic.
